I am greatly honored and delighted for the opportunity you have offered and entrusted me to take the mantle to serve you as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda for the next three years.
After a successful recruitment process, Mr. Dison Bosco Okumu was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at the 91st meeting of the Governing Council of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda held on Tuesday, 21st April 2020 effective 1st July 2020.
On behalf of the Council and Management, the Institute of Corporate Governance of
Uganda (ICGU) has resolved to postpone the Corporate Governance general trainings, scheduled for this period and the Corporate Governance Awards 2020 scheduled for 29th May 2020 at Kampala Serena Hotel, and all other engagements on our calendar, as we continue to monitor the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
